Very professional installation and they were up front with an additional charge because of some additional trim that had to be added. Overall project cost was still within 10% of the estimate. Repair or Replace?
Not every issue requires a full replacement, and not every repair is the right long-term solution. Our team helps you evaluate performance, cost, and lifespan so you can make an informed decision that protects your investment. We believe in honest guidance, not unnecessary upgrades.
Signs it's Time to Repair
Many companies default to inset windows because they’re faster. While inset can work in some cases, it reduces glass size and doesn’t allow access to insulation or hidden issues behind the frame.
When Inset Makes Sense
Inset windows are a good option when the existing frame is in solid condition or when exterior materials like stucco or older trim, make full replacement more difficult.
The Rusco Approach
We don’t default to the quickest option. Rusco often recommends full frame replacement when it’s the better long-term solution, allowing for proper insulation, full glass size, and a more complete result.
