Insuliner
Primary Thermal Barrier Window
The Insuliner window is actually two windows, one serving as the primary
window and one serving as the storm window, both mounted in a common
wood frame. The windows are separated by over an inch of wood, one of
natures best insulators, to guard against the conductivity of cold air
from the outside through the metal frames to the inside. It virtually
eliminates frosting, condensation, and heat loss in the winter, and improves
air conditioning in the summer!
Features & Benefits
- Nailing Fin
Heavy duty extruded aluminum nailing fin is part of the window. Helps
ensure square installation and adds strength to the frame.
- Screen Frame
Are made of heavy rolled form extrusions for added rigidity.
- Automatic Locking Sash
When closed - all sashes are automatically locked to frame and interlocked
at center mullion ensuring a positive weather tight seal.
- Metal Rollers in Nylon Housing
Aluminum rollers are placed into nylon housings and inserted into window
glass frames. There's no grating, grinding, or sticking. The INSULINER
is a true rolling window.
- Two Piece Sill and Center Mullion
Sloped two piece sill adds strength and provides for superior water
drainage. Two piece center mullion reduces bowing and adds vertical
support between head and sill.
- Thermal Break
Ture wood separation provides one of natures best thermal breaks between
exterior and interior window. Heavy wool pile weather stripping
around perimeter of windows and at interlock prevent both air leakage
and infiltration.
- Extra Benefits
- Maintenance free exterior
- Jambs come primed, painted, or grade A
- Exterior operating sash, screen and both interior sashes remove
easily for cleaning and repair
