Meeting stringent performance standards, the Royal double Hung boasts a distinct sash design that allows for a wider glazing shelf to hold 7/8" insulated glass with 4-9/16" jambs in our standard size double hung frame. More glass space means a better performing unit. the economy of this window is further enhanced by using Kolbe & Kolbe's superior jamb liner block and tackle balance system.

• constructed of western pine, with pine interior stops & wood mull sasings on mulled units
• Glazed to the interior with wood glazing beads
• All exterior wood parts are preservative-treated
• vinyl bulb weatherstripping at the top of the upper sash and bottom of the lower sash
• Flexible, dual-fin weatherstripping at the check rail
• 1-3/8" thick sash
• 4-9/16" wide jambs
• 1/2" LoË^2 insulating glass filled with argon gas*
• Clay-colored, heavy duty sash locks
• Machined finger grooves on the top rail of the upper sash and bottom rail of the lower sash as hand-holds for operation
• Spring-loaded block-and-tackle mechanical balances to carry the sash weight
• Beige PVC jambliners with compression-foam backing
